Bio

Ryan Israelsen is the Alan J. and Sue Kaufman Endowed Professor in Insurance and Risk Management, and a professor in the Department of Finance in the Eli Broad College of Business. Israelsen's research explores the impact of biases and information frictions on financial markets, and he is widely recognized for his contributions to understanding investor attention and asset pricing. He is a regular contributor to top finance and accounting journals and conferences, and has served in an advisory role for regulatory bodies such as the SEC and Bank of Canada.
